Waste Carriers Licence
When businesses produce waste, they have a range of responsibilities. These include complying with the requirements of the duty of care, and if they're producing hazardous waste, they may need to register as a producer under the Hazardous Waste Regulations. PHS Maxitech holds this License as we collect redundant IT Equipment which in some instances is regarded as Waste.
Waste Management Licence
PHS Maxitech collects WEEE equipment which is classed as Controlled Waste. This Licence ensures that the client is protected as we are licenced to collect confidential WEEE equipment.Waste management exemption:
PHS Maxitech has a Waste Management exemption Licence which allow certain electrical and electronic wastes to be recovered by repair and refurbishment. Maxitech assures its clients that we maximise the use of redundant equipment and no equipment is sent to Landfill.
